American Politics

American Politics is a required Social Studies credit offered to Juniors and Seniors.  The course looks at the structure of the American Government that includes the Legislative, Executive and Judicial Branches.  The class also studies the Constitution in depth with a special focus on the Amendments.  In other units we study the American political parties, interest groups, citizenship expectations and the election process.  This class is a semester course.
