SUMMER MEALS!!

Breakfast & lunch available to all kids ages 18 and younger at no cost through Aug. 17. Breakfast served 7:30-9:00 and lunch 11:00-12:30 daily, Monday - Friday. No registration required, just show up and eat! Mazeppa children bused to Zumbrota for lunch. Pickup at 11:00 on Third Ave NE by small gym. Returns at 12:00 pm. Remember to check the menu link (see article on summer meals below) for all the menu options!! Please enter through either Door 13 or the high school gym doors by the back parking lot.

Algebra

Algebra 1 – 9th grade is offered for those who took linear algebra as an 8th grader. Topics continuing from linear algebra will be covered including: Systems of equations, factoring, graphing and solving quadratic equations, and factoring and solving absolute value equations. Using algebra to solve geometric problems in the coordinate system such as: determining if lines are parallel or perpendicular, distance between coordinates, transformations, and area of polygons will also be covered. Throughout the year basic math facts and mental math strategies will be incorporated to aid in solving real-life application problems for this class and future math classes. Students must pass the 1st semester of this class in order to take the 2nd semester.
