Welcome to the 2017-18 school year, and welcome to Art! This year, my teaching assignment is at the elementary and primary level: I will have grades K, 2-6. You can find me in the morning at the Elementary School in Mazeppa and in the afternoon, at the Primary School in Zumbrota. I look forward to an exciting year full of wonderful projects!
When the weather is bad and school is closed, please try these different "Wild Day" activities:
Kindergarten: find at least three things in your house that have warm colors on them, and three things that have cool colors. Draw a picture of those things you found. Label them "warm" or "cool."
First Grade: make a sculpture from something you have in your house. You could stack boxes, build something from kitchen utensils, or even try a "mannequin pose." Get permission before using things that aren't yours. Now, draw a picture of what you made.
Second Grade: Draw a picture of something in your room. Color it.
