We are pleased to announce ALL STUDENTS enrolled at Zumbrota-Mazeppa will be receiving one FREE school breakfast and lunch for the 2025-2026 school year! This is because of the Minnesota Free School Meals for Kids Program.

One FREE breakfast includes entrée, fruit or juice, and milk.

One FREE lunch includes offering of the five food groups, meat/meat alternate, grain, fruit, vegetable, and milk. Children are required to have 3 of the 5 menu components on their tray to qualify for a the free meal. Incomplete meals will be charged a la carte.

All students will need to/continue to enter their PIN when going through the breakfast and lunch line.

Yes, student meals are free. But we continue to ask that you fill out an Application for Educational Benefits. If approved, the school district received additional funding for a variety of programs.

Application for Educational Benefits are available for the 2025/2026 school year. You can access and print one by selecting “Application for Educational Benefits” tab on the left. Electronic copies will also be sent out to all families enrolled.
