Mrs. Nelson's second-grade class visited the HS Computer Graphics class and gained hands-on experience with the robots, engraver and 3-D printer.

First-grade is learning about fossils and how they make imprints in rocks. We made fossils with dinosaur bones and clay today!

It's Opening Day for spring activities at ZM, as the C softball team hosts Mayo at 4:30.

Primary Students have been utilizing their problem-solving skills to address challenges. So much fun participating in engaging activities, including unplugged coding (using Lucky Charms), hop-scotch coding, color coding with Ozobots, and building bird nests to welcome spring!








Today was Marble Maze Day in 2nd Grade. We had so much fun using the engineering process to imagine, plan, create and improve play. Our students are so creative and enjoyed the project!

Today our intro to law enforcement students learned about crash investigation and reconstruction. Thank you to Trooper Kuisle with the Minnesota State Patrol and Zumbrota Police Department for assistance with this lesson.




Today, I was able to observe a lab in Ms. Quam’s 5th Grade Science class, “Designing the Perfect Pancake.” Did you know that adding 7-Up to pancakes makes them fluffy?! I’m going to try and impress my family with this secret! 😃 Thanks, 5th Grade, for sharing your knowledge and hopefully improving my skills in the kitchen!




Thank you Officer Clemenson, from ZPD, for teaching the Child Development class all about car seat safety! Thanks for helping them learn how to install all types of seats. Also, thank you to our friends at Bright Beginnings for giving our high schoolers hands on experience seeing what properly sized and improperly sized car seats look like.
