Good afternoon, Zumbrota - Mazeppa families, Students and Staff,
This is Ryan Barnick, Superintendent of ZM Schools. I know it's important for families to have as much planning time as possible when our school days are altered. Thus, in an effort to help you and your family plan accordingly, I wanted to send out an update this afternoon. Due to forecasted extreme weather conditions for tomorrow, Wednesday, March 5th, Zumbrota - Mazeppa Schools will not have classes at any school. However, tomorrow is our first Weather Impacted Learning Day (WILD). If you have any questions related to WILD Day protocol, please reach out to your classroom teacher or principal. Tonight's Parent Athlete Coaches meeting will still take place as scheduled, but anticipate it will be shorter than usual to ensure a safe trip home for everyone.
Additionally, please note that due to a predicted blizzard warning for the area tonight through tomorrow afternoon, Cougar Care and Bright Beginnings will be closed tomorrow.
There is no preschool tomorrow and all Community Education classes are canceled.
All other updates, delays, or cancellations affiliated with the school will be posted to the ZM website, app, and social media.
Thank you. Be safe, Cougars!

Some of our sophomores attended the Futureforward career fair in Cannon Falls to learn more about opportunities in the skilled trades.

Reminder: The Spring PAC meeting is tonight at 6:30pm in the ZMHS Auditorium.
Students (and their parents) interested in participating in baseball, golf, softball and track are encouraged to attend.

Congratulations to the MS/HS Students of the Month for February! Way to ROAR with Cougar Pride!
